As yet another year draws to a close it is hard not to anticipate the new year. While it is actually pointless to chronicle all the good and the bad all I have is a grateful heart.
Though for me this year comes with a deep apprehension for this country as the leadership policies are getting quite hopelessly redundant.
With the recession and inflation everything has gone all the way up and the average public servants barely above poverty line take-home is slashed while the members of the legislature remains untouched…this absolutely works my last nerves.
Through all this I am grateful for my blessings, family, good health, freedom and the ability to continuously follow my dreams and my quest for a better life.
Life has been and will continually be a miracle of going ahead against all odds and making it through. Is it by my power, hell, no! But I know there is a greater power looking out for me and that’s why I say “there, but for the grace of God, go I”.
While I promise to be here more often this new year, i’ll end this ramblings with an Irish prayer
May God give you… For every storm a rainbow.
For every tear a smile. For every care a promise and a blessing in each trial
For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh a sweet song, and an answer for each prayer.
